IⲰANHC [ΔЄCΠΟTIC O ]ΠΑΛЄΟΛΟΓΟC / ΘV XAPITI BACIΛЄVC POMЄO Nimbate bust of John VIII wearing domed crown and three-lobbed tippet. DOC 1663 ff. SB 2564. Nicely toned. Areas of weakness and with minor scratches, otherwise, very fine.
